Meet The Authors

Everett Akam

Casper College History Professor Everett Akam directs the college's Veritas Honors Institute and teaches U.S. History, Western Civilization, Wyoming History, and American and Wyoming Government at the college. He holds a Ph. D. from the University of Rochester, and is the author of Transnational America: Cultural Pluralist Thought in the Twentieth Century. He also loves to ski. Akam will moderate the panel "Words, Pictures, and the Local Past," at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18th at the Fort Caspar Museum, and will be available to sign books afterwards.
